As senior pastor of Covenant Church in Lincolnton, North Carolina for 23 years, Charles saw the church grew from a fledging group into a strong community of faith and with regional ministry and outreach.

Charles was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Educated in a private Christian high school, he later graduated from Biola University (B.A.); Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.); Luther Rice Seminary (D.Min.).

Charles and his wife, Lynne, have five adult children and seven grandchildren. They have made North Carolina their home.

He currently serves as founder and president of Pathmaker Ministries, Inc. With over 40 years experience in ministry, Dr. Brown offers real-time wisdom and insight into authentic spirituality.
